Finally got around to finishing up the new chapter! Didn’t originally plan on the fight in it occurring, but I felt like it helps display certain emotions of the characters, as well as dive into some more technical portions of Abilities.

New chapter! Had fun with character interactions in this one. After this chapter we’ll be getting into some more action related content, with Winona and Charlotte as the center of attention.

I was able to get this chapter completed a lot more quickly than the last one. It was a lot of fun working with the dialogue, which helped me continue my writing flow.
At this point, the story has over 20000 words total, which is pretty dang cool. Hoping this story will continue to grow!

Chapter 1.5 is finally done. Had some issues with figuring out how to wrap up the fight. I need to do a better job of doing so in the future. Also, chapters now have titles! This one is called “Sharing All Kinds of Things”.
I would say this is the end of the first real “arc” of the series. I have a few things I still have to do before Part 1 is wrapped up, however. Part 2 is where a lot of stuff gets crazy, so I’m looking forward to that.

As I continue to work on Chapter 1.5, I’ve been thinking about a lot of things. This first little “arc” is just about over, yet there are still a few things I need to do before Part 1 can be wrapped up. So I’ll probably have one more arc to take care of that, which is a good time to introduce a major character to the story. He’ll probably be one of my favorite characters to write, so I’m looking forward to it.
Now, for those of you who know me, you know that I also desire to become a successful streamer on Twitch. This along with writing are my two big goals I’d like to accomplish. What I would like to do is, despite the site obviously focusing on my story (phantonics.com is the name of the site after all), I would like to have a small section dedicated to my streams as well. At the moment, I only really plan on promoting my streams through updates, but I might make a tab for personal stuff, which would include streams.
I usually stream games such as Pokemon and Zelda, which are my favorites, yet am up to try just about anything. In the future I do plan on starting up special writing streams, where the chat can work with me to come up with silly short stories. I think it would be a blast. Feel free to check my streams out here.
So if I do end up doing this, just know that it won’t get in the way of Phantonics content (as I said, I’m working towards both writing and streaming). I’ll more than likely only add stream-related tags to those specific updates as well.
